M. O. Yuksel, having visited mosques worldwide, carries a passion for sharing the unique architecture and personality of each mosque. From Turkey to Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan to Malaysia, Canada, and the United States, she has experienced the serenity, peace, and hospitality common to all these places. Currently residing in New Jersey, USA, she enjoys family life with her husband and three sons.

Hatem Aly, the Egyptian-born illustrator renowned for works like "The Proudest Blue" and "The Inquisitor's Tale," infuses "In My Mosque" with his captivating artistic style. His childhood memories of imagining shapes on the mosque's carpet have translated into beautiful patterns within the book. Based in New Brunswick, Canada, Hatem resides with his wife, son, and a household filled with more pets than people.
