Once the cycle is complete, the bottles will stay sterile for 3 hours providing the lid isn’t opened. If you don’t want to use it in the microwave, it can also be used as a cold water steriliser, by purchasing a specialist non-toxic solution which comes in liquid or tablet form (sold separately).
