It has handy arm poppers that let you transition from an arms-in swaddle to an arms-out sleeping bag once your baby shows signs of rolling.

What room temperature is the 1.0 TOG rating suitable for?

1.0 TOG is designed for room temperatures of roughly 20-24°C, making it suited to the warmer end of the year.

How do I make sure I've picked the right size?

Use your baby's weight, not just their age, to choose the correct size. You should be able to fit two fingers inside the neck opening for a safe fit, and shouldn't size up early for safety reasons.

Do I need any blankets on top of the swaddle?

No. The swaddle is a 'wearable blanket' and comes in different TOG ratings. Simply match the room temperature to the appropriate TOG rating and your baby will be warm enough during sleep without the need for unsafe loose blankets. If your baby runs cold and needs an additional layer on top, use the HugMe Blanket - a safe sleep approved mattress sleeve that cannot become untucked.
