Slow Flow (S) delivers a limited flow ideal for a newborn's first days of life, from 0 months. Medium Flow (M) is suitable for milk, juice, and thin purees from 3 months. Dense Flow (L) allows thicker liquids through and is recommended from 6 months. For most breastfed babies, the Adaptable Flow is the best starting point and often the only teat they ever need because it adjusts to your baby's sucking strength naturally, there is no need to move up a flow rate as your baby grows stronger. For formula-fed babies, the Slow Flow at birth transitioning to Medium at around 3 months is the typical progression.
