FAQs

What should I pack in a daycare bag?

A labelled backpack with spare clothes, a water bottle, lunch box, sleep bag or cot sheet for naps, and a wet bag for dirty items.

Why should I label everything for daycare?

Daycare centres care for many children at once — labelling bottles, clothes and bags helps staff quickly identify what belongs to your child and reduces the chance of mix-ups or lost items.

Do I need to pack a spare set of clothes?

Yes — accidents and spills happen. Most daycares ask for at least one full spare outfit, sometimes two, kept in the bag at all times.

What's a wet bag used for?

A wet bag keeps dirty nappies, soiled clothes or wet swimwear separate and leakproof inside the daycare bag, so nothing else gets messy.
