The Omni Classic is Ergobaby's most popular all-rounder and the most recommended starting point for first-time babywearers it delivers the full four-position, birth-to-toddler functionality at a more accessible price point than the Omni Deluxe. It is newborn-ready from 3.2kg and 50.8cm with no infant insert needed, supports up to 20.4kg through to approximately four years, and offers four carry positions: front inward facing, front outward facing, hip carry, and back carry. The Omni Classic features an adjustable bucket seat, adjustable back panel, padded lumbar support, and crossable or H-back strap options with easy access adjustment points for quick transitions between caregivers. The key differences from the Omni Deluxe is the Omni Classic does not include the privacy/sun hood,storage pockets or detachable storage pouch - these are accessories available to purchase separately. For most families, the Omni Classic delivers everything they need. The Omni Deluxe is worth the upgrade if storage is a priority. Both are machine washable, both are recognised as hip-healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute
